DATABASE COLLECTIONS
Grand
Comic Book Database
The
Grand Comic-Book Database Project (GCD) is a
volunteer project with the goal of documenting
and indexing all comics for the free use of
scholars, historians, researchers, and fans.
Multiple search options are available, and a huge
number of cover images can be viewed together
with autorship information for individual comic
books.
Mike's
Amazing World of DC Comics
The
name of Mike Voiles's website is both accurate
(it is amazing) and misleading (it's by
no means about DC comics only anymore). His
illustrated database is a real treasure trove, so
be prepared to spend more than just a few minutes
there. Especially cool:
The
Newsstand, where you can travel back
in time and see what was on available in any
given year and month.
